John McFarlane
Senior Infrastructure Surveyor and Construction Team Manager
John is a registered surveyor who has been in the industry for over 22 years. John has worked and helped manage some of Australia's largest infrastructure projects, including the Alice Springs to Darwin Railway, Sydney's M7 Motorway, Port River Bascule Bridges, the RAAF Base at Edinburgh and Superway Segmental Bridges in South Australia. Whilst many of these projects offered significant challenges, John took them on without hesitation to ensure the best outcome was achieved.
When John is not on site, he is managing the Construction team from Alexander Symonds’ Kent Town office.
John is a fantastic resource for the company and works tirelessly to achieve great outcomes for our clients. John is one of our 12d Model gurus and has been using the program for over 17 years.
John loves sport and travels regularly to see the action all over the globe. From the Isle of Man and Lords, to Yankee stadium and then to the holy grail, Alberton Oval.
