Beau Thorley
Director
Beau is a Director and Licensed Surveyor with over 15 years’ experience in the industry, including extensive exposure to mining and resources, construction, aerial surveys and land division. He has particular expertise in 3D laser scanning and high precision engineering surveys which he has helped implement on many major projects across Southern Australia, including the Adelaide Festival Centre and Olympic Dam upgrades.
Beau enjoys working alongside clients on complex projects to achieve a common goal. He is passionate about utilising technology to ensure spatial data is being leveraged to its full potential.
In 2015, Beau received the Asia-Pacific Young Spatial Professional of the Year award and in 2018 received the inaugural Alexander Symonds PRIDE award, recognised by peers as living the values of the organisation. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his young family and travelling.
Beau is a passionate Crows supporter. To escape, Beau likes to get some km’s in on the bike or put on the headphones and spin some records.
