From student to surveyor, hear our success stories
Three years ago Bryce joined the team as a Field Assistant while studying a Bachelor of Geospatial Science at UniSA. In 2021, he transitioned into the role of Infrastructure Surveyor and now works predominantly on topographical and cadastral surveys. With the support of Alexander Symonds, Bryce has since received from UniSA a Graduate Diploma in Surveying and is working towards becoming a Licensed Surveyor with the Surveyors Board SA.
“In my role I have the opportunity to work in remote and challenging locations on a diverse range of projects. With the ongoing support and guidance offered by the Alexander Symonds team, I regularly apply the concepts I learnt at university in a practical sense.”
“I started working at Alexander Symonds the same time as I started uni. Working as a field assistant, heading out with a surveyor, learning the basics, progressively taking on more and more responsibility and learning along the way.”
