Two years together, celebrating PinPoint and Alexander Symonds

When the team at Alexander Symonds launched PinPoint Service Mapping (PinPoint) in 2020, no one could have predicted what the next two years would entail. Despite the uncertainty brought by the pandemic, PinPoint has celebrated many successes undertaking projects big and small across Southern Australia. Our team has doubled in size, led by professionals and experts who continue to challenge what can be achieved.

Led by Director Franco Rea, the PinPoint team brings the same work culture and commitment to client satisfaction as Alexander Symonds. Fostering strong, long-term client relationships through a collaborative approach to ensure we achieve the best possible results. Dennis was the first to join the team, an experienced and accredited Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) service locator. Soon Johnny, a qualified surveyor and DBYD locator came onboard, his skills and experience allowed us to expand our service offering to include full spectrum survey services. Since, we’ve added two more trainee locators to the PinPoint team, ready to take on new challenges.

From graduates to long-standing technical staff, every member of the PinPoint and Alexander Symonds team is encouraged to engage in continuous learning and improvement. With the resources of the Learning and Development Manager, we are able to develop qualified locators with the highest standards in services to our clients.

PinPoint has undertaken over 400 projects since we first started. Along our journey we’ve worked on a number of notable projects with highlights including the full service location for the Coopers Stadium upgrade in Hindmarsh, SA and the underground service location for the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, SA.
